At Putney Hill Dental Practice you will find friendly and highly experienced dentists and specialists. Don’t worry if you’re a little nervous – you’ll receive gentle sympathetic treatment. In an emergency just give us a call and we’ll bend over backwards to make sure you get seen. Nervous patients are especially welcome and can be treated under sedation by our in-house anaesthetist.

The practice has been established for more than 40 years and is located in a period building a moment from Putney rail station, and a few minutes walk from East Putney tube. In the last 2 years Dr Collie Moran has refurbished the practice extensively and we are now proud to boast stylish state of the art surgeries while maintaining a friendly relaxing environment. Dr Collie Moran

Collie Moran qualified in dentistry from Trinity College Dublin in 1992. A move to the UK followed shortly after and he entered general dental practice in London. He followed his special interest in implantology and prosthetic dentistry which resulted in being awarded a Masters Degree with Distinction from The Royal London Hospital School of Medicine and Dentistry in 1999.

Dr Moran became the principal dentist of Putney Hill Dental Practice in 2007. In that time the practice has been refurbished, and state of the art equipment fitted. He is proud to be able to offer the full range of complex dental and cosmetic treatments in conjunction with his specialist colleagues.

He is a PADI dive master, a keen traveller, and big Arsenal fan.

Dr Firas Daoudi

Firas has wide interest in and a very strong commitment to restorative dentistry. This includes root canal treatments, cosmetic dentistry and implants. He has authored numerous articles in international professional journals and has given presentations both nationally and internationally on a variety of dental topics.

Firas gained his DDS degree in 1992 and his Master in Conservative Dentistry (MSc) from the prestigious UCL Eastman Dental Institute in 1997. In addition he is Licentiate in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is recognised by the General Dental Council in the UK as a Specialist in Prosthodontics.

Today, apart from his commitment here at Putney Hill Dental Practice, Firas is Associate Specialist in Restorative Dentistry at the Royal London Hospital. Firas is a member of the British Society of Restorative Dentistry (BSRD), British Endodontic Society (BES), British Dental Association (BDA), Eastman Dental Academy. He is registered with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

Dr Abdul Khan

Abdul is a specialist in oral surgery at Charing Cross Hospital. We are very fortunate to have him attend the practice on Saturday mornings and evenings by arrangement. Abdul is a Fellow of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and was awarded his Master of Science degree in 1994. He completed his residency in oral medicine at the university of Louisiana in 1998.

Dr Khan is a very skilled and highly experienced surgeon. In addition to wisdom tooth removal he has a particular interest dental implants and bone grafting. In conjunction with his restorative colleague Dr Collie Moran he undertakes all aspects of implant dentistry from a single missing tooth to full mouth reconstruction. Treatment can be carried out under sedation if requested.

Abdul lives locally and enjoys cricket.

Dr Daniel Flynn

After qualifying from Trinity College Dublin, Daniel spent a year as a House Officer in the Dublin Dental Hospital, concentrating on both restorative dentistry and oral surgery, following this, he worked in private practice for over two and a half years and completed the MFDS exams before beginning a three-year programme in Endodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute. He lectures and gives hands-on courses for general dentists. Daniel also teaches Endodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute for Oral Healthcare Sciences.

Socially, Daniel is a sporting enthusiast and plays football for a Sunday League team. He also enjoys skiing and snowboarding and has travelled extensively including a “round the world trip” in 2001.

Mrs Yulli Tamayo-Myerson

Yulli has over 10 years dental experience and has held a variety of roles within the dental team. She started as a Dental Nurse in 1997 and has gained training in dental nursing, oral health education, dental radiography and conscious sedation.

She is now a dually qualified Dental Hygienist and Therapist from King’s College London Dental Institute. Her training allows her to carry out preventative and gum treatment for adults and children, place fillings in adults and perform an extensive range of dental treatments on deciduous teeth (milk teeth).

Yulli enjoys working with nervous patients to overcome their fear of dentistry. She believes that through clear and effective communication the patient can be guided to taking an active role in their dental treatment and oral health.
